Handle Pot

Settlement pottery refers to shards of pots and vessels made of clay that come to light during excavations in houses and storage pits. In contrast to grave pottery, which was specially made for burial or consisted of the "good crockery" of a household, settlement pottery consisted of simple cooking pots, milk vessels, and storage vessels for everyday use.
