Hamburg archaeologically

Hamburg is a fascinating finds landscape - important archaeological sites with exciting objects stretch across the entire city like a net. The spectrum ranges from stone tools of the first people who lived on the Elbe to modern legacies from the 20th century.
We show you some of these treasures on familiar ground: what is probably Hamburg's largest local transport map in the world at 200 square metres. The exhibits are assigned to their respective stops according to their origin and can be made to talk at the touch of a button.
